The New Neutrals: Blush and Olive Green

I have always loved these two colors but I can't remember ever wearing them together. As of late, it has become quite trendy to wear all neutrals or blush tones together and I was inspired by one of my fav bloggers, Rochelle from Beauticurve, to combine these two colors together. I love how simple her look is but stunning at the same time so I recreated the look with the same colors but a completely different outcome. Blush and olive have definitely become part of the neutral clan and I plan on purchasing more pieces in these colors. I hope you like!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! Just wanted to give you a little inspiration for your holiday with this winter, white vintage cape, black velvet leggings, black suede over-the-knee boots, lime suede vintage handbag and black and brown fedora. My aunt gave me this cape a couple of years ago for Kwanzaa and I have been in love ever since. I hope you like! Have a delicious day!!!

Styling an Unconventional Piece: The Vintage, Tomato Red, Trenchcoat

I found this vintage, red trench coat a few months ago while thrift shopping. Owning a fashion staple like a trench coat but in an unconventional color like tomato, red is my kind of style! I’ve never owned the traditional tan/khaki colored trench coat. I’ve had a green one (R.I.P.), a fuchsia one I still have and a plaid one I blogged about a few weeks ago. The cut of this coat gives it some major swing and I just love the bright color. I wanted the spotlight on the coat, so a simple tee and jeans is all I needed. I hope you like! Floral Vintage Dress & Colorful Accessories

If you’re from the Midwest or currently live in the Midwest then you know how ridiculous and unpredictable the weather can be. I live in Milwaukee, WI and the only thing predictable about this weather is that 9 times out of 10, it will be cold. Except for the past few days, it’s actually been 65-70 degrees. In NOVEMBER!!! So I took full advantage and pulled out this vintage, colorful floral dress that I didn't get to wear this past summer. Paired with a vintage, leather, purple envelope clutch and bright pink and silver heels-I was good to go!
